SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE
We offer settlement conferences that allow parties to quickly mediate their disputes in a cost-effective manner that meets court-ordered mandatory ADR requirements.
CO-MEDIATION
In some cases, having two mediators co-mediating the dispute helps assure expertise in diverse areas of law, multi-jurisdictional disputes, and cases where having diverse mediators can alleviate concerns about equity and fairness.
MEDIATION
We provide facilitative mediation for parties seeking to resolve their disputes out of court. Half-day, full-day, and multi-day mediations are available depending on the complexity of the case and issues involved.

Pacific States Mediation LLC provides alternative dispute resolution services for parties seeking to resolve their disputes out of court or as required by court order. We are currently providing settlement conference and mediation services in Washington and Hawai'i and virtually via Zoom teleconferencing in all Pacific Coast states. Jeff Smoot

Jeff Smoot is a Seattle native who is currently living in Honolulu. He was admitted to the Washington bar in 2007 after working for twenty years as a litigation paralegal and law clerk and as a contract specialist for a large real-estate development firm. Jeff's practice has focused on consulting with and representing individuals and business clients in a variety of matters. His clients have included rock stars, professional athletes, private banks, and tech startups, but mostly people and businesses facing relationship and debt issues. After more than a decade of civil, commercial, and divorce litigation, Jeff found that he most enjoyed helping individuals and business owners find common sense, cost-effective solutions for avoiding and recovering from financial distress, which led him to shift the focus of his practice to dispute resolution.
